A Safety Non-Conformance Report (SNCR) documents the details of a non-conformance identified in a Safety audit or other process review. The objective of the report is to make a clear and concise definition of the problem so that corrective action can be initiated. The SNCR Smartapp is used as part of Safety control processes by detailing the deviation from the standard approved safety procedures. An NCR records the deviation and provides suggestive corrective action with a proper timeline to close the deviation. To close the SNCR, the person responsible to work on the corrective action intimates the safety auditor to re-verify that the corrective action taken is as per approved process and recommendations.
