The Layout Section in the Form App Designer lets you add and configure field types in your App.

Form App Sections:

The Layout section lets you design your Form Based App Layout. You can Drag and Drop field Types in the Right Panel onto your Form Based App Layout, then Configure each Field Type as you wish. The Form App Designer defaults to the Layout Section by Default.

Layout Form Field Types:

The Layout Form Field Types are located in the Layout section of the App Designer on the Right Panel. To add a Field Type to your Form, simply click and drag the field type onto your Form.

	Collection	Adding a Collection Fields allows you to Segment your Form into 'Collections'. Each Collections can hold multiple additional Field Types.
	Auto Checkin	The Auto Checkin Field Type lets you Check-In to your current location using your device GPS. *Note:* Must be added to a Collection
	Blank Input Grid	The Blank Input Grid Field Type is configurable to hold different Data Types: Text, Interger, Decimal, Contact Picker. App Users can add data records to the grid in the app. *Note:* Must be added to a Collection
	Checkbox	The Checkbox Field Type lets you add a Checkbox to Check or Uncheck something on your Form. *Note:* Must be added to a Collection
	Contact Picker	This Field Type can be used to pick 1 or many users to be selected from: Users, Organization: Companies, Organization: Work Teams.
	Cost	This Field Type Lets you add a Cost field to your Form.
	Current Time	When added to your form, this Field Type shows the Current Time or Date with Time.
	Date	This Field Type lets you enter/select a Date from the Date Field.
	Decimal	This Field Type lets you enter a number with decimal values into the Decimal Field.
	Drawing log	The Drawing log field shows you a log of Drawings in your App.
	Form Button	Adding a Form Button to your App lets you perform an action based on a specific source.
	File	This Field Type allows you to attach a File with a preview Thumbnail to your App Item.
	GPS/Map	Use this field to track the Street, City, State, Zip, County, Country, Latitude and Longitude.
	Integer	This Field Type lets you enter an integer that does not contain decimal values.
	Item Barcode	This Field Type lets you capture an Item Barcode in your App Item. Note: Works with a Barcode Scanner.
	Label	This Field Type lets you add a Label to your App Item.
	Linked Field	Use this Field Type to pull in Data from a Field in another App.
	Links	Use this Field Type to Add a Links list to your App Item.
	Location	This Field Type lets you add one or more Locations to your App Item.
	Notes	This Field Type lets you Add Notes to your App Item.
	Pinned	Use this Field Type to Show any Pinned Items in your App.
	RTLS	Use this Field Type to Show any RTLS Enabled Item Data in your App.
	Schedule Work	This Field Type will let you Schedule Work for the App Item.
	Signature	This Field Type will let users Add their Signature to an App Item.
	Subitem Grid	This Field Type lets you add a Subitem Grid to your App Item.
	SymbolData	Use this Field Type to Add Symbol and Token Data Values to your App Item.
	Text box	This Field Type adds a Text Box to your App Item.
	Time	This Field Type Adds a Time Stamp to your App Item.
	Weather	Use this Field Type to add Weather Information to your App Item.
