'Direct Costs' are costs associated of a project that are not associated with a Purchase Order. Example, labor, materials and fuel are usually considered direct costs.

  • You can add direct costs against a budget line item by selecting and clicking on the 'Add Direct Cost' button from the transaction.

 

  • Click on the Add direct cost button and add all the relevant inputs for creating  the cost. Clicking on the submit button will create the direct cost record.


 

  • The direct cost can also be a smart item and can be viewed as additional details by expanding the right pane after selecting the direct cost item as shown below.


  • Once the items is selected you can see all the details of the selected item in the right pane as shown below.
