The Safety Bulletin option is a NEW Safety Settings Feature that lets Safety Managers configure Safety Bulletins that can be sent to the entire Project Team. The 'SOS & Bulletin Notifications' option can be accessed under Project Settings > Safety Settings.


SOS Notification Configuration

  • The 'SOS & Bulletin Notifications let the Safety Manager Configure who SOS & Bulletin Notifications go to in a Project. Safety Manager clicks on the 'SOS & Bulletin Notifications' option under Project Settings > Safety Settings.


 


  • The 'SOS & Bulletin Notifications' Settings popup contains the following information:
  1. Title: 'Who should receive alerts for SOS & Bulletin events?

  2. Help Button: Sends user to 'SOS & Bulletin Help Documentation

  3. X: Close Window

  4. Toggle Text: 'Every one present on the Job Site at the time of the event'

  5. Toggle: (Defaults to OFF) - IF RTLS is Enabled on the Jobsite, this option will show. When Turned on, notifications get sent to Everyone present on the job site at the time of the event. IF RTLS Is Not Enabled, this option will be HIDDEN and users will only have ROLE or Distribution List options.

  6. Role Selector Dropdown: Safety Manager can select one or many Roles to send SOS & Bulletin Events to.


  • The "Every one present on the Job Site at the time of the event' Toggle will only Show IF RTLS IS ENABLED.IF RTLS IS NOT ENABLED, this option will be hidden.
  • The toggle will be ON by Default. Turning it ON would imply that All the Users at the Jobsite with RTLS Beacon Data Available will receive the SOS and/or Safety Bulletin Alert.


  • Additionally, User clicks to select one or more Roles from the Distribution List Dropdown.



Configuring Safety Bulletin List Values in List Manage

  • A New List Name Called "Safety Bulletin" is available by Default in List Manager, with the Below Predefined Values which the User can Edit if Required:

a. Bad Weather

b. Evacuation

c. Flooding

d. Gas Leak




Creating a Safety Bulletin


  • There is a NEW Option under Project Settings > SAFETY Settings called 'Safety Bulletin'. The Safety Bulletin option lets Safety Managers create Safety Bulletins to send out to select users. User clicks the 'Safety Bulletin' option to create a NEW Safety Bulletin.



  • The Safety Bulletin Window contains the following information:

a. Title: Safety Bulletin

b. Safety Bulletin Help Button

c. Expand

d. Close (X)

e. Toolbar:

  • Add
  • Edit
  • Deactivate/Activate
  • Delete
  • Search Bar
  • Safety Manager clicks on the + (Add) Button to Add a New Safety Bulletin.


  • The 'Add Safety Bulletin' Popup contains the following information:

a. Title: Add Safety Bulletin

b. Close (X)

c. Name: Safety Bulletin Name

d. Type: This dropdown list is populated from the Safety Bulletin List in List Manager

e. Safety Alert: Safety Manager can add the Safety Alert Text in this Box.

f. Save Button


  • Safety Manager types in a Safety Bulletin Name in the 'Name' field.


  • With the Name added, Safety Manager selects a Pre-Set Type 'Bad Weather'.

         Note: The Type Field gets populated by the Safety Bulletin List in the List Manager in Project Settings.


 


  • With the 'Bad Weather' Type selected, Safety Manager types in the 'Safety Alert' message.

NOTE: ONLY when Type: 'Bad Weather' is selected, the 'Auto notify based on weather service' Checkbox option will be available. This option will only show when 'Bad Weather' Type is selected. It will be hidden for all other selections.

  • When 'Auto notify based on weather service' Checkbox is Enabled, an API will programmatically send Weather Safety Alerts to the Notification Group Configured.


 


  • With a Safety Bulletin Added, Safety Manager clicks the '+' to Add an Additional Safety Bulletin.



  • Safety Manager adds a Name and selects a Type.


  • With the Type 'Flooding' Selected, the 'Auto notify based on weather service' Checkbox does not show. Safety Manager Adds a Description and clicks the 'Save' button to save the Safety Bulletin.



  • With a Safety Bulletin Created, Safety Manager can now send out a Safety Bulletin by clicking the 'Send Alert' Button to the right of a Safety Bulletin.



Sending a Safety Bulletin

  • With Safety Bulletins Created, Safety Manager can click the 'Send Alert' Button to the right of a Safety Bulletin to Send that Bulletin.
  • Safety Manager clicks the 'Send Alert' button to the right of a created Safety Bulletin.



  • With the 'Send Alert' Button clicked, a Confirmation Pop-up shows with the following information:

a. Title: Confirmation

b. Close (X)

c. Text: 'Are you sure you want to send this Safety Bulletin Alert?'

d. No: Cancel Alert

e. Yes: Send Alert

  • Safety Manager clicks 'Yes' to Send the Safety Bulletin.



  • With the Safety Bulletin Sent, End Users will see the following Notifications:

Creating a Safety Bulletin - Mobile


  • On Mobile, there is a NEW Option under Project Settings > SAFETY Settings called 'Safety Bulletin'. The Safety Bulletin option lets Safety Managers create Safety Bulletins to send out to select users.
  • User clicks the 'Safety Bulletin' option to create a NEW Safety Bulletin. In the Safety Bulletin window Safety Manager clicks on the + (Add) Button to Add a New Safety Bulletin. Safety Manager Adds Safety Bulletin Information and clicks the 'Save' button to save the Safety Bulletin.

 




Sending a Safety Bulletin - Mobile

  • On Mobile, with Safety Bulletins Created, Safety Manager can click the 'Send Alert' Button to the right of a Safety Bulletin to Send that Bulletin.
  • Safety Manager clicks the 'Send Alert' button to the right of a created Safety Bulletin. With the 'Send Alert' Button clicked, a Confirmation Pop-up appears. Safety Manager clicks 'Yes' on the Confirmation Pop-up to Send the Safety Bulletin.



  • To Edit, Delete or Deactivate a Safety Bulletin, simply click on the Triple Dot and select one of the options.

 



Safety Alert Smart Items in 'Safety Alert Log'


  • When a Safety Alert gets sent out by one of the Project Members, a new Smart Item gets created in the 'Safety Alert Log' App for that Alert.


Safety Bulletin in Daily Reports

  • In Daily Reports, There is a NEW 'Safety Bulletin' that displays the following information for each Safety Bulletin Alert for that day:
  • Name: Name of Bulletin
  • Type: Type of Bulletin
  • Safety Alert: Alert Text <Tornado Warning for Rhode Island until 9:00 PM>
  • Time Sent: MM/DD/YYYY HH/MM AM/PM
  • ID: Links to the Smart Item created in the 'Safety Alert Log' App.

   


  • Safety Bulletin in 'Daily Report' on Tablet.
