Allow Attachments/Note/Quick link as a new config for each Checklist Question

This document allows adding 3 NEW configurations to each Checklist Question.

a. Add Attachment

b. Add Note

c. Add Quick Link

1. When All 3 config options are enabled then the Attachment Paper clip icon is shown first followed by Add Note and then the Quick Link. 

2. Tablet will show the 3 config options and the UI same as Desktop. However on a Phone when one of the three options is enabled it will show the icon at the end of the question. If more than one is enabled then it will show triple dots and by clicking on it will display the options as shown in the image below.

Allow Attachments

This use case allows Users to upload one or many Attachments to each checklist Question type.

1. In Designer, all checklist question types will have a new Config 'Allow Attachments'.  This setting will be ‘OFF’ by default.

Upload One or Many attachments

1.When 'Allow Attachments' has been enabled for a Question Type, a new paper clip icon will be displayed at the end of the question

2. Tapping on the Paper clip will let Users add one or many attachments to the Question.

3. On Desktop, User  will have 2 options

a. Upload Files

b. Select from Drive

4. On Devices, User will have  3 options

a. Upload Files

b. Select from Drive

c. Take Photo

5. Tapping on ‘Upload Files’, Will invoke the standard File Picker

6. Tapping on ‘Select from Drive’ will invoke the standard Drive File picker.

7. User uploads one or many Files and clicks on Upload.

Note: Ability to add 'Tags' after the upload has to be allowed. This will associate File/Location tags to the attachments being uploaded and displays in the Attachment grid.

6. On Devices, If User clicks on ‘Take Photo’, Invoke the Standard multi-device upload capture (User should be able to capture one or many photos).

7. Once the Attachments are uploaded, the User will be redirected back to the details page and the Paper clip will display the updated file count.

8. Once the Checklist Item is saved and is Read Only, new attachment cannot be added. However existing attachment can be viewed via Quick View.

8. Tapping on the Paper click with one more attachment has to load Quick View and allow User navigate b/w the attachments by clicking on the left/right navigations.

9. Any Attachments added to a Question has to be saved and displayed in the ATTACHMENTS tab.

10. A new column 'Attachments added for question' has been introduced. This is available only to the checklist App types.

11. In order to identify the Attachment belongs to which Question, the format has to be <Section Name: Question Number>. If the Question number is not set, hide the number and display the Section Name only.

12. Attachments has to show:

• File Name

• Checklist Template Name

• File Tag

• Location Tag

• <Date Time Updated>

• <Section Name: Question Number>

Add Note

This use case allows Users to add a Note to each checklist Question type. In Designer, All checklist Question Types will have a new Config, 'Add Note' which will be OFF by default.

1.When 'Add Note' has been enabled for a Question Type, at the end of the question a new Note icon will be displayed.

2. Tapping on the Note icon will let Users add one or many Note to the Question, sort icon is disabled until at least one note is added.

3. Tapping on Add Note will let User add a new Note. Once text is added, User has to click on '+' to commit the note.

4. Until the checklist has been saved, multiple notes can be added that get appended one below another with User details stamped on each note added.

5. Latest Note is displayed on the top.

6. Clicking on 'Delete' will ask for a confirmation and let the user delete the note.

7. Sort Icon lets users sort all the existing notes ascending/descending.

8. Once the Checklist Item is saved and is Read OnlY, New Note cannot be added. However existing notes can be viewed and the 'Enter Note' section will not be visible.

Add QUICK LINK

This feature allows Users to add a 'Quick Link' as a Smart Item to each checklist Question type. This will enable consumption to Link a Smart Item to a checklist Question.

1. In Designer, all checklist Question Types will have a new Config, 'Quick Link' where this setting will be OFF by default.

2. When the Quick Link option is enabled, 'Select App' field will be enabled. This lets User pick ONE App (Shows all the Apps part of the Project).

3. User selects an App and saves the configuration. This will enable on consumption to Link a Smart Item to a checklist Question.

4. When a Quick Link is configured to a Question, the App icon linked to the config has to be displayed.

5. Tapping on the App Icon lets LINK a Smart Item to a checklist Question which invokes the 'Quick Links' pop up and shows existing Smart Items for User to select from. If the App does not have any App Item then invoke the 'Create New' Smart Item directly.

6. From the Quick Link pop up, Users can select one or more exsisting Items or hit the '+' button to create a new Item.

7. When Existing Items are selected, the row turns highlighted and the count in App icon the background will update dynamically.

8. To create a New Item, User clicks on the + which invokes the details page. Once Saved the Item gets linked to the checklist question.

9. When Saved, the User is redirected  to the checklist details page and the corresponding count is displayed.

10. Tapping on the App icon will display an interactive Grid that shows existing Smart Items selected and at the TOP click '+' button to add additional NEW Smart Items.

11. Once the checklist is saved, new smart Items cannot be attached to the question but existing links can be viewed. When the checklist is saved (read Only), + and toolbar buttons will be disabled.

12. Quick Links shows 2 columns, Item name and Description. Double tap to load the corresponding Item details page.

13. Any Quick Link added to a Question has to be saved and displayed in the Links tab.
