Notification Settings

In Project Team > Safety turned on, a new 'Notification Settings' feature under the Safety settings toolbar. Safety Manager can manage both work and manager notifications from the ‘Notification Settings’ popup.

1. The 'Notification Settings' popup contains the following information:

a. Work Notifications: The ‘Work Notifications’ allow the ‘Safety Manager’ to notify workers In advance.

• Short Service Period (toggle On/Off) - When this is ‘ON’, Safety Manager can set the number of days in advance at the end of the worker's short service period they should start receiving notifications as well as the ‘Frequency of Reminder Notification delivery’.

• Renewal of Credentials (toggle On/Off) - When this is ‘ON’, Safety Manager can set the number of days in advance of the worker credential renewal, they should start receiving notifications, as well as the ‘Frequency of Reminder Notification delivery’. 

• Expiration of Certifications (toggle On/Off) - When this is ‘ON’, Safety Manager can set the number of days in advance of the ‘Expiration of Worker Certifications’ they should start receiving notifications, as well as the ‘Frequency of Reminder Notification delivery’. Users that have certifications with an expiration date will receive notifications based on that.

b. Manager Notification: Manager notifications gives the Safety Manager an option of receiving daily or weekly ‘Digest Notification Emails’.

Note: If a User has a phone number on record, notifications will be sent by ‘SMS’ in addition to email. If phone number is not listed in record only ‘Email’ notification will be sent.

Safety Manager sets 'For Short Service Period' notifications for Users

In Project Team > Safety is on, Safety Manager clicks the ‘Safety Settings’ button and turns on and sets the 'Short Service Period' settings. 

1. Safety Manager clicks on the 'Notification Settings' to manage the 'Safety Work/Manager Notifications'.

2. In the ‘Notification Settings’ popup, Safety Manager clicks the 'For Short Service Period' toggle to ‘ON’ to enable the short service period settings.

3. When 'For Short Service Period' turned ON, Safety Manager can add the says in advance, the notifications should start being sent. In addition, Safety Manager can set the ‘Reminder Frequency for Notifications’ to be sent.

4. After notification is turned on and days entered, Safety Manager can click the 'Save' button to save the updated settings.

5. 'For Short Service Period' is enabled, 'Short Service Period' Users will receive the following notification at the frequency set in the ‘Work Notification’ settings.

6. The 'Short Service Period Badge Expiration' email contains the following information:

a. Smartapp Logo

b. Project Image/Name - Links to Project

c. Safety Branding

d. Email Title: "Short Service Period Ending Notification"

e. Text: "Your short service is ending on <06/20/2021>. Please visit your Safety Manager to get your full

service badge."

f. Safesite Email Dressing/Footer

Safety Manager sets 'For Renewal of Credentials' notifications for Users

1. In the notification settings popup, Safety Manager toggled 'For Renewal of Credentials' ‘ON’ and  enabled the ‘For Renewal of Credentials’ settings.

2. Along with 'For Renewal of Credentials'  ON, Safety Manager can add the ‘Days’ in advance the notifications should start being sent. In addition, Safety Manager can set the ‘Reminder Frequency’ for notifications to be sent.

3. Along with the ‘Notification On’ and ‘Days’ entered, Safety Manager can click the 'Save' button to save the updated settings.

4. Along with 'For Renewal of Credentials' enabled, Users with credentials that need to be renewed will receive the following notification at the ‘Frequency’ set in the ‘Work Notification’ settings.

5. The 'Renewal of Credentials' email contains the following information:

a. Smartapp Logo

b. Project Image/Name - Links to Project

c. Safety Branding

d. Email Title: "Renewal of Credentials Notification"

e. Text: "A few of your safety credentials require an update or renewal on <06/20/2021> for this project. Please click the link below to renew your credentials."

f. 'Renew Credentials' button - Links to manage/credentials URL.

g. Safesite Email Dressing/Footer

Safety Manager sets 'Expiration of Certifications' Notifications for Users

1. In the ‘Notification Settings’ popup, Safety Manager toggles 'For Expiration of Certifications' ON to enable the ‘For Expiration of Certification’ settings.

2. With the 'For Renewal of Credentials' turned ON, Safety Manager can add the Days in advance the notifications should start being sent. In addition, Safety Manager can set the ‘Reminder Frequency’ for notifications to be sent.

3. With the Notification turned On and Days entered, Safety Manager can click the 'Save' button to save the updated settings.

4. With 'For Expiration of Certifications' enabled, Users with certifications that are expiring will receive the following notification at the ‘Frequency’ set in the ‘Work Notification’ settings.

5. The 'Expiration of Certifications' email contains the following information:

a. Smartapp Logo

b. Project Image/Name - Links to Project

c. Safety Branding

d. Email Title: "Expiration of Certificates Notification"

e. Text: "Your <OSHA 30> certificate is set to expire on <06/20/2021>. Please provide an updated copy

for our records. Use the link below to update you certifications"

f. 'Update Certificates' button - Links to Manage/Credentials URL.

g. Safesite Email Dressing/Footer
