You can setup Work Categories by accessing the Work Categories under the PLANNER™ Settings > Work Categories as shown below.



  • Click the + Add button to begin creating a New Work Category.


  • In the Create Category window, add a Name, and select a Trade. You can also add a description if needed and Click the SAVE button to save the Work Category. The new Work Category can be seen in the Manage Category Grid.




1. Random and Custom Colors for Work Categories

  • Automatic Assignment: When a new work category is created, the system assigns a random unique color.

  • Custom Colors: Users can modify the assigned color using a color picker.

How to Use

Create a Work Category

  1. Click on the '+' button to create a new work category.

  2. Enter the required details for the new category.

  3. The system automatically assigns a random color.

  4. To change the color, click on the color picker and select a new color.

  5. Click 'Save' to create the category with the selected color.

Manage Work Categories

  • The Manage Work Categories grid displays the assigned colors for each work category, making it easy to identify them visually.
