Daily Time and Journal Settings :
The "Daily Time and Journal Settings" screen will now show 2 tabs, to capture Journal and Work Labor settings separately.

Journal Settings
To configure Journal Settings , follow these steps:
1. Access the Daily Settings by going to Mega Menu → PLANNER → Daily Time and Journal Settings
2. Enter the roles for Creator Role and Approver Role fields.
3. A new setting "Daily Report Approvers can also create Work Labor/Journal/Daily Impact for other Company" has been introduced. This setting will only be enabled when one or more roles are added in the Daily Report Approvers field.
6. If NO Approvers are assigned, the setting will be greyed out.
7. If Toggle is "On":
Checkboxes for Work Labor, Journal Entry, and Daily Impact will be enabled.
Selecting one or more checkboxes will allow the Company field to be selectable in the respective modules if the user has an Approver role.
8. If Toggle is "Off":
The options (Work Labor, Journal Entry, Daily Impact) will be disabled for selection.
Reminder Notice in Journal Settings Tab
When Enable Journal Entries is switched ON , Send Reminder Notice will be enabled with the following Options
On Login: Sends a reminder when user logs into the application
End of Shift: Allows user to selects a shift type and sends a reminder at the end of the selected shift time
Custom: Allows user to select a specific time using a time picker. This is similar to the existing End of Day Time selection
Work Labor - Include Resource Details & Work Categories
Users can customize the "Work Labor" functions via PLANNER Settings → Daily Time and Journal Settings. This help document outlines the necessary steps to configure and use the "Work Labor" feature, as well as the new UI updates for Daily Settings.
Enabling Work Labor Time Tracking
Work Labor Time Tracking is controlled by a simple On/Off toggle button:
- Toggle On: Enables Work Labor and its time tracking for the project.
- Toggle Off: Disables Work Labor time tracking.
When the toggle is set to "On," users can configure additional settings:
- Work Categories: Determines if work categories are included.
- Resource Details: Specifies whether individual resource details are included.
The configuration combinations are:
- Work Category: Yes, Resource Details: Yes (Long Work Labor)
- Work Category: Yes, Resource Details: No (Long Work Labor)
- Work Category: No, Resource Details: No (Short Work Labor)
Detailed Use Cases
1. Work Category = "Yes", Resource Details = "Yes"
- Work Labor Type: Long Work Labor
- Configuration: Requires associating individual resources to workers.
Mobile:
- Navigate to PLANNER → Add Work Labor tile.
- The logged-in user's company and corresponding trade auto-populate.
- Add workers by clicking the "Add Workers" button.
- Choose workers from the "Workers" or "Work Teams" tabs.
- Customize time recording for each member with start and end times.
- Add notes if needed.
- Save the work labor entry as a draft or submit it.
Tablet and Desktop:
- Follow similar steps as in mobile with minor UI differences.
2. Work Category = "Yes", Resource Details = "No"
- Work Labor Type: Long Work Labor
- Configuration: Just add the number of workers without associating individual resources.
Mobile:
- Navigate to PLANNER → Add Work Labor tile.
- The logged-in user's company and corresponding trade auto-populate.
- Input the number of workers for each work category.
- Add the total hours worked by all workers.
- Add notes if needed.
- Save the work labor entry as a draft or submit it.
Tablet and Desktop:
- Follow similar steps as in mobile with minor UI differences.
3. Work Category = "No", Resource Details = "No"
- Work Labor Type: Short Work Labor
- Configuration: Just add the number of workers without associating individual resources and without work categories.
Mobile:
- Navigate to PLANNER → Add Work Labor tile.
- The logged-in user's company and corresponding trade auto-populate.
- Input the total number of workers.
- Add the total hours worked by all workers.
- Add a note if needed.
- Save the work labor entry as a draft or submit it.
Tablet and Desktop:
- Follow similar steps as in mobile with minor UI differences.
Time Log Entry for Work Labor
When the 'Include Work Categories' is set to 'Yes' and 'Include Resource Details' is set to 'Yes', submitted Work Labor entries are added to the Time Log of respective workers with the source set to 'Manual'. If Work Labor is configured as 'Short' (both settings set to 'No'), entries are not added to the Time Log but are included in the Daily Report.
Verify & Send Back Work Labor
For Long Work Labor configurations:
- Clicking 'View to Verify' loads the Work Labor UI in Read-Only mode with 'Send Back' and 'Verify' buttons.
- Functionality for 'Send Back' and 'Verify' remains consistent with current implementations.
Reminder Notice in Work Labor & Daily Time Tracking
The "Send Reminder Notice" setting allows users to configure when to receive reminder notifications to record time. We provide with 3 options:
- On Login: Sends a reminder when user logs into the application
