Overview

This feature allows users to enable or disable the reporting of safety incidents in journal entries within the Planner and Field apps.

Key Features

  1. Toggle Safety Incident Reporting:
    • A new configuration option in Daily Settings to turn on or off the "Report Safety Incident" field in journal entries.

How to Use

Enabling Safety Incident Reporting

  1. Navigate to Daily Settings:

    • Go to Mega Menu > Daily Settings > Journal Settings tab.

  2. Toggle ON:

    • Enable the "Report Safety Incident when creating new Journal Entry" option.

  3. Journal Entry:

    • In Planner or Field, click "Add Journal Entry."
    • The field "Was there a Safety Incident at site today" will be visible.
    • Toggle the option to Yes or No.
    • If Yes, fill in the details under the Safety Incident section and add notes.

Disabling Safety Incident Reporting

  1. Navigate to Daily Settings:

    • Go to Mega Menu > Daily Settings > Journal Settings tab.

  2. Toggle OFF:

    • Disable the "Report Safety Incident when creating new Journal Entry" option.

  3. Journal Entry:

    • In Planner or Field, click "Add Journal Entry."
    • The field "Was there a Safety Incident at site today" will be hidden.

Important Notes

  • Visibility: When the toggle is OFF, the safety incident question and related notes will not appear in journal entries.
  • Default Setting: The default setting for the toggle is ON.
