In the Budget Manager, users can customize their view by adding, removing, and creating custom calculated columns. They can save these customized views as either Public or Private for future use.
View Selector and Search:
The control in the middle functions as both the View selector and the Search bar.
Users can search any value from any visible column, and the currently selected view is displayed in the Search field.
Clicking on the caret displays all views categorized under Standard, Public, and Private sections.
Creating a New View:
Users click on the 'View selector' and then 'Create New View' to open the 'View Builder' popup.
In the popup, users can drag and drop columns to rearrange their sequence and toggle visibility.
Users can also create custom calculated columns by clicking on 'Create New Calculated Column'.
Custom Calculated Column Creation:
Upon clicking 'Create New Calculated Column', a panel slides out.
Users enter a name for the new column and define the calculation equation using existing columns and operators.
Available operators include Math, Date, Arithmetic, Comparison, String, and Set functions.
Users can undo, redo, validate, and view markup using the toolbar icons.
Once configured, users click 'ADD' to add the column to the view.
Saving the View:
Users toggle columns on/off as needed and click 'SAVE' to open the 'Save View' popup.
In the popup, users enter a name for the view and select its type (Public or Private).
Public views are visible to all Budget Manager users, while Private views are only visible to the creator.
Upon successful creation, a toast message confirms the creation of the view.
