This feature allows checklist templates to be associated with specific trades, ensuring that users only see the templates relevant to their trade.

1. Trade Association for Checklist Templates

  • Purpose: Display checklist templates based on the user’s trade association.
  • Configuration: Trades can be associated with checklist templates during their creation or through the checklist configuration settings.

How to Use

Associating Trades to Checklist Templates

  1. During Template Creation:

    • Open the Checklist App designer.
    • Click the "+" button to create a new checklist template.
    • In the Checklist Template Settings, use the "Select Trade" field to associate trades. This is a mandatory, multi-select drop-down containing all registered trades.
  2. Via Checklist Configuration:

    • Navigate to the Checklist section in the designer.
    • A new column, "Checklist Access by Trade," will appear with a multi-select drop-down for each template.
    • Select one or more trades to associate with the checklist template.

Accessing Templates

  • When users log in and attempt to create a new checklist item, they will only see templates associated with their trade.

Notes

  • Ensure UI changes are approved by the User Interface team.
  • Trade association is mandatory when creating new templates.
