To only see a specific subset of items from a SmartApp shown on the Map, Usres have the option to configure a Filter. Only one SmartApp at a time can have a filter applied to it.

To apply a filter to a SmartApp, first select the SmartApp, then select the filter icon.

The App Grid for the selected SmartApp will display over the current map window. You can click into the filter area of one of the columns, and type in an applicable value to filter down the list of items.   Once you have configured your filter, click the APPLY ON MAP button to apply your filter.

Any items from the SmartApp that are located in the area of the map you are currently viewing that meet the filtering criteria will display on the Map.
